Our Team

STATHIS

I graduated with a Bachelor in Informatics and Computer Engineering from the University of West Attica of Athens, Greece. During my internship at La Charbonnerie Makerspace in Marseille, France, I expanded my knowledge on 3d printing, laser cutting, designing and prototyping in various applications. I hold a certificate in Adult Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a certificate in Teaching Robotics, 3D printing and STEM in primary and secondary education from the University of West Attica in Athens. In 2018-2020, alongside my Mountain Leadership and Guiding Diploma from the Public Vocational Training Institute of Stemnitsa, I gained certified experience in Mountaineering and Rock Climbing from the International Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (UIAA). Growing up in an olive grove, I developed my passion for agriculture and environmental protection from a very young age, while in 2019 I received a Permaculture Design Certificate, which I am currently making good use of in our family and cooperative farms. 

Katerina Pistola 
I graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting of Ionian University in Corfu. As a leisure time animator in Tsaf Tsouf Summer Camp and as a performer in CreArt Events Agency in Corfu (2009-2011) I have acquired experience in puppetry, stilt walking, recreational, leisure time and outdoor activities for children. I have participated in numerous transnational youth mobility programs since 2006, as a member of the NGO Kids in Action, and as a project coordinator in the Trip to Heterotopies with Via Brachy in France and Greece. I have worked as a production assistant in the transmedia documentary Heterotopies and Karditsa: A Social Ecosystem with Cinergies Cooperative since 2014. I hold a certificate in Adult Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2018-2020, alongside my Mountain Leadership and Guiding Diploma from the Public Vocational Training Institute of Stemnitsa, I gained certified experience in Mountaineering and Rock Climbing from the International Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (UIAA). In 2019, I was a fellow cultural manager in Bürgerhaus am Schlaatz in Potsdam during the START Cultural Change Program. Growing up in the tri-border area of Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey, I realised over the years the importance of interculturalism and the safeguarding of our intangible cultural heritage, which I wish to weave with my passion for sustainable and responsible tourism.

Throughout the year, we offer guided hiking tours for all ages and backgrounds to explore and enjoy Greek nature.

Our interpretive approach to tour guiding aims to enrich the experience of the visitors and unveil in an attractive way the characteristics and biophysical and cultural relationships of an area.

Our goal is to inspire through experiences which generate enjoyment, sensitivity, knowledge and commitment to the values of local communities and the natural environment itself.
